my boyfriend and i chose this hotel as we have eaten in the bar before, which is lovely.. very atmospheric and nice food, with beautiful surrounding gardens and countryside.

the hotel is a re-furbished stable block, with individual rooms coming off the car park, kind of like walking into a chalet! again, looking very quaint from the outside...

however, they aren't quaint inside! clean... is about the only good thing. very drab, decor is 70's style, stained carpet.. nothing at all to write home about.
the only good thing is the power shower.. altho the bathroom is, again, very basic in style, the shower is fantastic.. not in appearance, but in water pressure! it was like having a massage!
very, very basic.. def not worth the £70 we paid for a double room.
the surrounding area is beautiful, and the bar is nice and so is the food, but only stay here as a last option!
even breakfast the next day wasn't nice.. the poor girl who served us was too... more
