Stayed at this hotel when the current management had just taken over and found it to be excellent value for money, with clean rooms , friendly staff etc etc. Stayed again weekend of 22/23rd September this year and what a disappontment. I've stayed at the Stuart House on business several times and it's fine for an overnighter. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned and small, but are clean and warm. Stayed here overnight and was most impressed by the quiet location and warm welcome. The bar does a good range of beers. I enjoyed the evening meal - good thought out menu - and wine list.
