My husband and I stayed here for a Murder Mystery event as a last minute whim. The hotel was in a quiet residential area, yet close to the town through the park.
The room ( 26) was small but cosy & well furnished, with a most comfy bed, new bathroom and decor.
Our evening was very well organised and we...

We stayed on 31st January and had room No 1 which is in the enclosed garden which was very nice, free WIFI and freeview flat screen TV. parking is at the back of the hotel and I would say could accommodate a few cars, but there is parking along the lane-way. A 20 min walk through the park into the...

All the staff helped make the day very special for everyone attending. Attention to detail was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. The choice of the food for the buffet was excellent. Loved the room I stayed in - only small criticism was that when finally made it to bed at 1am the room was very hot and I...

Hotel is within walking distance of town centre ( which is an unusual but very welcome mix...

Only stayed one night. We had the garden room and the in-laws had a room in the hotel. Both were tidy, spacious and clean although the garden room had quite a few webs around the coving and was lacking a plastic cup to rinse your mouth after cleaning your teeth. The receptionist was welcoming despite being clearly rushed off her...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Room large but bed not very comfortable.
Shower just dribbled - reported it but it didn't change thru stay.
Breakfast pretty average.
Staff friendly & helpful. Bar comfortable & food good.
Ample parking. Only a short walk across the park to get to the town centre.
