I stayed at Lynford Hall as a birthday treat for my husband. The location was perfect for what we wanted, a little gem in forest! We were very impressed with the staff, always being greated with a friendly smile...even at 7am! They all looked after us very well and we will definently be going back soon. My husband and I stayed here for 1 night after attending a wedding reception.The grounds are lovely which is the only good thing about this hotel. Thank goodness we only ate and not stayed. We met my in-laws for mother's day lunch, the bar area was dirty, the service appallling, the food poor. We waited so long for dessert that we left. The wine list had the same wines listed as French and Italian! we asked to see a member of managent and there weren't any! more
