We went to this pub on spec not expecting very much from pub food however we found the menu imaginative and reasonably priced for the area. Service was good and the standard of food excellent. Don't be put off by the outside apperance as the rear conservatory is light and airy.

We had a lovely stay at The Ship, fantastic location, clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We have a hotel and we honestly couldn't fault it, it had a lovely buzz about the place. Breakfast was delicious and we will defiantly be back. Recommend to everyone.
