I thought this B&B was absolutely gorgeous to look at with a lovely back garden. Yes it's on a busy road but we couldn't hear a thing from our room (which was The Miller Room). It's in a good location being just outside Padstow. Full English breakfast was very tasty and the service was very good. If you visit the... more

We stayed two nights at the Old Mill House. Because we booked very late we had to change rooms, so we spent our first night in the miller's room and our second in the corn store. The miller's room is without doubt the nicest B&B room I have ever stayed in, and the corn store although quite small was also... more

Just stayed 2 nights here with my boyfriend. The first night we stayed in the millers room which was beautiful. The bed was large and comfy, and the little decorations around the place really made it feel special. I really liked the porthole feature between bathroom and bedroom. The view from the room was really lovely, overlooking the wheel, the... more

Fantastic B&B. Great location for touring, and the rooms are finished to an exceptionally high standard. Paul and Hannah, are perfect hosts, and gave us lot's of comments as to where to visit ( and where not to ! ). The breakfast's were superb. We had a great 3 night stay, and would certainly recommend. more

We visited this B & B as part of our honeymoon trip and were certainly not disappointed. Paul and Hanna were charming hosts who were welcoming and friendly. We wanted a relaxing stay and this was certainly achieved. We stayed in the Hayloft which was lovely, comfortable bed, great bathroom and had a great view across well cared for garden.... more

I dont know why that grumpy old bag in a previous review was moaning about the smoking signs (perhaps she just needed a fag?) this B&B was warm and friendly as soon as we entered, very clean and a lovely breakfast. Easy walk to Padstow along the Saints way aswell. more

This B&B was great. The location is nice, close to Padstow a short drive from some lovely beaches and walks. Our room was very clean and tidy and the cream tea served in the afternoon was excellent. The breakfast was also very good and our stay was very pleasurable. more

We spent only two days at the Old Mill House and pittied ourselves when we had to pack our bags. We found what we were looking for: tranquility, cleanliness, ambience. We both run a hectic life, so we came here to chill out, forget for a good, quiet while about our everyday routine. We chose this place as we were... more

Having stayed at the property at the beginning of September for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend get-away, I can thoroughly recommend this charming B&B provided you neither smoke nor have children. I stayed in the Stables which though not necessarily to my own personal tastes was consistently decorated throughout with an equine theme and was I pleased to see... more

My husband booked the Old Mill as an anniversary surprise for me. We stayed here on our honeymoon eleven years ago. We rang the bell on our arrival and were finally met (I hesitate to say welcomed) by an unfriendly gentleman, who we assumed was the owner Paul Charlesworth. He gave the impression that he had much better things to... more
