Everything about Althea Library was just wonderful. Will definitely return one day and would recommend to all. The owners even put birthday balloons in our room when they discovered it was my birthday. So different to our next stop - The Bay Hotel, Port Isaac - which was awful. more

After a 6 hour drive from york the althea library was a welcome oasis of calm from the padstow crowds, located as it is on a one way street it is easy to find and doesn't involve having to drive through the pedestrian masses that usually bring the streets to halt.
