This B &B is conveniently located just a couple of minutes away from the town centre. We received a warm welcome from our Host who showed us to a large and well furnished bedroom with a four poster bed which we found to be extremely comfortable. The decor and furnishings were to a high standard and the large window looked... more

We have been staying at the Garslade Guest twice a year for the past few years. We are always welcomed extremely warmly by the very friendly landlady. We usually stay in the 'Four Poster Room' which is very comfortable and the view from the room is dominated by the very pretty church opposite this charming 16th Century house. We are... more

If you are considering staying at the Garslade then dont consider it - DO IT! We have just stayed at Skye Cottage for 3 days over the weekend and I cannot add anything to the previous comments, just to echo them by saying everything at Skye Cottage was fantastic. We shall definitely be back next year if we can get... more

We stayed at the Skye Cottage which is a separate part of the guest house, which has been built at the end of the garden. There are two rooms in Skye cottage, it is newly built so everything is in really good condition - the bed was ssoooooo comfortable and the pillows and duvet were luxurious. The shower was also... more

We stayed (2 couples) in the Garslade Guest House for 2 nights while attending the Seafood School in Padstow. Our room was in a separate 'cottage' to the rear of the property accessible from the road behind. We paid around £80/night per couple which is reflective of the demand for Padstow accommodation. The accommodation was modern, but we were given... more

We stayed at Garslade for three nights and were delighted from the minute we pulled up. The house itself is beautiful outside and in and is directly across the street from a beautiful church. The landlady is very, very friendly and accomodating and made us feel at home immediately. We stayed in the four poster room which is not only... more

good location, near padstow harbour, walking distance. lovely cooked breakfast. Hired bikes and done camel trail, highly recommended, good fun.The only downside was the parking near the guest house but that seems to be the whole of padstow area. Very close to Rick Stein seafood restaurant, can walk there, highly recommended. more

Found the Garslade on a websearch and then booked directly with the landlady. Very friendly but was given the impression we would be staying in the house itself - when we arrived we were directed to an annexe - which is actually in the next street but linked by the garden. This was no big issue, although would have been... more

Had read poor review ,about noise and was a bit sceptical. No need to have worried, booked for Rick Steins so needed somewhere local. Very warm welcome, room was beautiful with four poster bed. Fantastic location and lovely view of ancient church. Breakfast was locally sourced produce and set us up for the day! Already booked next stay ! more
