My husband and I have just returned from a relaxing stay at Dennis Cove Camp Site. The site was easily found despite our tied eyes after 6 hrs of driving to get there. However we were not disappointed. The showers, toilets etc were clean. Yes, you did have to pay for the showers but this was no problem to us.... more

A very busy and popular site, and early booking is advised at peak times. The main site is a level field, with good pitches, a clean toilet/ shower block, and a great place to camp. Having only ever camped at Coniston before I was expecting the usual mud, noise and lack of sleep. Not so at this site. The location is spot on, the view from the site very picturesque, we appreciated and respected the no noise/car rule after 10pm, the facilities are basic but more than sufficient and very clean (it is camping afterall).... more

Come to Dennis cove and camp on a hill ! Come on.......86 quid for 4 nights for 3 of us. One water tap point right at the bottom of the field....and poor showers @ 40pence extra for 5 mins ! and we had booked ! It has its good points. I love this place it is almost as simple as you get in the grand scheme of camping but lovely and relaxed. Do book in advance and it is only 10 mins into town but check the route.
