We took on board previous comments and booked online for a 2 day stay over a Fri/Sat to both recover from a local coastal running event and to explorer Lyme Regis. We were warmley welcomed by Peter and Lorraine, our room (Yew) was superb and cosy with underfloor heating! Freeview and hot drink facilities. In the morning we were able... more

My fiance and I stayed over at the Beech Grove House and had a stunning time. The hosts were very warm and friendly. The Service is top notch. The rooms are 5 star quality and better than staying in a hotel. Beautiful surrounds. We would go back any day. Regards Glenn and Eleni more

We stayed for six nights and could have stayed longer. This is a first class B and B, gorgeous breakfasts, spotlessly clean, very comfy and in a fantastic location. Walk into town is easy and really nice but it does get VERY dark so you will need a good torch if you plan to walk back. more

We stayed for 2 nights for our 10th anniversary, we were greeted by peter who showed us to our room followed shortly by a lovely pot of tea and a muffin. Breakfast is great with a wide variety of choices and fresh eggs from the chickens. The gardens are lovely with a bbq hut hot tub a nice place to... more

the perfect setting for a relaxing few days away, the best of everything was provided and nothing was too much trouble. We really want to go back and use the hot tub and spend more time enjoying what Beech Grove House has to offer. more

Having finally worked out how to post a management response, this is it!!!! Peter and I would like to thank all of you who have posted on trip advisor for your kind words; it's really nice for us to get feedback especially when it is so positive. We stayed at Beech Grove House the weekend after our wedding -it was like a Minimoon before we go away for our honeymoon later in the year. What a gorgeous place! Fantastic setting, quiet, rural -perfectly silent night s (apart from a local owl hooting in the distance) plus a really comfy bed made for a great night's sleep. There's... more

Beech Grove House is more than just your average B & B. From our arrival to our check the service was second to none. We 'd booked two nights at Beech Grove for our Wedding Anniversary so wanted something special but didn't want to stay in a large hotel. We were not disapponited. We stayed in the French Room which... more

Me and my husband spent an anniversary weekend here and had such a great time. The B & B is only a 20 min walk from town (through beautiful woodlands) and has great sea and country views. The garden is huge with a gorgeous bbq hut (which we didn't have time to enjoy), chickens (providing you with your fresh eggs... more

We stayed for 2 nights in late August. It's a lovely place to stay, in a rural location just outside Lyme Regis, with views over the sea and the sounds of the countryside, rather than cars, around you. Peter and Lorraine have given so much attention to creating a fabulous house. The bedrooms are modern, well designed and finished beautifully... more
