The good points - location, parking and price. The apartment was a reasonable size and had a view to the sea over the roof tops. You can walk everywhere in Lyme and leave the car behind. Superb location with parking - so just park up and walk. Excellent value for money. In the older part of the town which is just lovely - minutes walk to the bakery and High Street. Will certainly stay there again. Room 7 has an 'over the roof tops view' of The Cobb which was most welcome. More

The Gables is great for us as it is at the bottom of the hill just off the main part of the town. It is near to the church, theatre, museums, cafes, some shops (some are up the hill, as is the cinema, so you will have to do some walking upwards at a precipitate angle whether you like it... More

We as a family love coming to the Gables in Lyme Regis. Because Christine and Alan are a very lovely warm couple who welcome us everytime we come to their apartments. We've stayed in The Gables four times now and intend to again. It's a stones throw from the main beach and town & is a large, long & characterful older Lyme house perfectly in keeping with the character of the town.
