What a lovely guest house. I truly felt as though I was the personal guest of the owners. Room very comfortable, spotless and well stocked. Even a little foil wrapped chocolate on top of the snowy towels! Sue, the owner took great pains to ensure that I was comfortable and enjoying my stay in Lyme Regis. Although not from the... More

My daughter and I arrived on Friday evening and found our twin room at the back of the B and B had a sea view which was very nice. The towels and bedlinen were extremely soft and the bedroom and en-suite was spotless. Breakfast on the Saturday morning was very good but only served between 8-15am and 9am. A bit... More

Thank you we did appreciate you informing us that you did not require breakfast and were happy to let you leave the car in our car park free of charge to allow you time to look around the town. Our booking out time is clearly stated and it is not unusual in any guest accommodation where rooms need to be... More

One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Good value for money. Bedrooms are are the small size, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a lounge on the ground floor for guests use which is well stocked with books and magazines. Breakfast is traditional full-English, with fruit, yogurt and cereals also available. Parking is provided at the rear... More

Great little place, just up the hill from the centre of Lyme. Lovely walking down along the cliffs and to beach. We had some lovely Spring weather and early morning walk before breakfast was great. The room was a little tight on space as there were 3 adults staying in 1 room. Apart from that, everything was great. Lovely hospitality... More

The guest house is situated on the main road in to Lyme Regis, just a few minutes walk from the sea front. The room we stayed in had a double bed with en-suite shower room in the corner. It was a fairly compact space but fine for a short break. The room and the guest house in general was spotlessly... More

Warm, comfortable and welcoming with a great breakfast. The guest lounge has a substantial library of guides, maps and books about the area. Despite being on the main road, our room at the back was very quiet. Sue and Phil are excellent hosts, with lots of local knowledge.

We've just returned from a 3 night stay here for my birthday. The room was very clean with a well proportioned en suite shower room. We were on the front which had a sea view, the road was noisy during the day but didn't matter as we were out all the time. It was very quiet at night. The breakfasts... More

We have stayed at the Albany several times, and it is always excellent value. There is always a warm welcome from Sue, Phil and the bantams (sounds like a 60s pop group!). The rooms are always spotlessly clean, and the cooked breakfasts are always excellent. The Albany is in a very good location, with car parking, about five minutes walk... More

I stayed at the Albany Guest House in Lyme Regis in November 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed my time at this B&B. Before booking I had contacted Sue to check the guest house would be open during November. The response back was quick and informative adding in details about the local area. On arrival we were greeted by Sue who showed... More
