My husband and I stayed in the downstairs suite of the cottage recently and really enjoyed it. The room was decorated beautifully, with a massive comfy bed and I loved the big roll top bath in the bathroom!
We stayed for 2 nights and ate out both evenings, first night at the Museum pub in the village and the other night at the King John in Tollard Royal. Great food and atmosphere at both.
We were a bit surprised initially that we had to make our own breakfast as we thought it was B&B, but it has a kitchenette which is in a separate part of the suite (private to us) where we could prepare it. They supplied us with bacon, eggs, bread, jam etc. Actually it was nice being left alone and not having to make small talk with the owners as you do in normal B&B's, so it felt really private. They should maybe make it a bit clearer that the 'bed and breakfast' they describe on the website is actually just the ingredients and you will have to make it...
