Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great B&B. Quiet, restful area, overlooking farmland. Breakfast was well presented and plenty. Good sized, clean rooms and extremely friendly owner. Would highly recommend a visit and stay here. Would definitely consider returning if back in the area.

We had a very pleasant stay at this accomodation. It was comfortable, good sized room and bathroom, clean. The breakfast was very agreeable and kept us going all day! It was a very peaceful and relaxing location. The location was a good base for visiting Market Harborough and the surrounding area. I would recommend this B&B.

What a wonderful stay, welcomed to this beautiful farmhouse by Mervyn. Everything you might need is available. Use of the kitchen, lovely bedroom with sofa, easy chairs and tv. Such comfortable beds and lovely stocked bathroom. A plentiful supply of hot drink making facilities- such value for money. To top it off the most breathtaking view. Mervyn cooked the most delicious of breakfasts. I can’t rate the farmhouse and the warm hospitality enough- this truly was a top rated establishment with a top rated host to boot!! Thank you Mervyn. .

Very much enjoyed our stay at Langton Brook Farm. Lovely breakfasts (sausages are superb). Lovely room with enough space for chairs and settee (like a bedsit) and separate entrance for visitors. Excellent views of the countryside and friendly hosts! What more could you wish for.

Stayed here for the first time for one Saturday night in July. Can thoroughly recomment it. Beautiful situation in the middle of the countryside. The room was huge compared to some others i've stayed in. We stayed in the family room. Very clean and the breakfast was fantastic. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Would definately stay again if we were in the area again. Would recommend.

Superb location, lovely welcome, clean large rooms, there will be other visits as we have family in the area even if only for the breakfast!! Myself, my husband, my daughter and her partner had the place to ourselves as there are 2 rooms and we made ourselves right at home in the kitchen area as the business is in a separate part to Melvyn and Dis home. Would highly recommend Langton brook!

Whilst planning a visit to family in the area, we found this lovely place to stay. As city dwellers, we appreciate peace and quiet, views of the countryside and birdsong. All of those we found at Langton Brook Farm. The room was comfortable with a bath, a luxury nowadays in holiday accommodation. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Mervyn and Di pay such attention to detail. Great value for money! So, thank you. We shall be back!

Myself and partner stayed for one night and had a very pleasant visit. The South room overlooking fields was very comfortable, clean and cosy with en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Such a peaceful location with only twittering birds and bleating lambs to be heard. Mervyn was a great host and served a delicious breakfast with beautifully presented fresh fruit salad and cooked breakfast. In the evening we went to Great Bowden to the local pub for beer and food; this along with Market Harborough is also only a short drive away. If you're in the area then I would recommend staying here to support the welcoming local accommodation on offer. Thank you Mervyn.
