The owner Patrick was very helpful. The hotels location is very Quiet 4 miles or so from town but quite convenient for the railway station. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Over priced for what you get. Had better places for less money, our room was noisy due to other guests and their dog, not sure about dogs in rooms ???. Bed was not the best , you could feel every spring. Ok for one night but wouldn't come back.

I echo all the previous review has said. Patrick made us feel very welcome, nothing seemed too much trouble. GF diet catered for ( although I did bring my own bread). Very handy restaurant across the road too. we had a god night sleep, not disturbed by roadside noise or other guests. Mattresses comfy too. Definitely good value for money

The fact that we're repeat visitors to Boston Lodge says all there is to say where our opinion is concerned: we travel widely, use lots of hotels throughout the UK, and wouldn't dream of giving repeat business to any accommodation provider if we hadn't had value for money.
