Thank you, Paul and Flora, for thinking of most everything to make a stay at Brackenborough Hall such a breeze. Highlights for us, with a 2 year old and 70 year old parents to please, were a sunny, toddler-safe garden packed with mature trees, games, climbing frames, access to the wood with its swings and stepped logs. We were entranced... More

This was our third stay in the Granary and again the accommodation was just as comfortable and perfect for our group of 3 mums & 3 girls, aged 12. The girls once again took up residence in their 'private forest' on the new tree swings (safe wooded play area) and performed a show for us that evening using the much... More

We have just returned from another perfect stay, this time in the Stables. Once again the accommodation was just right for a relaxing weekend. We took our grand daughter (12) who soon found the wooded play area of swings and enjoyed exploring the farm. A lot of thought has gone into the accommodation here. Everything you could possibly need is provided.... More

Probably the nicest self-catering place I've ever stayed in. The Granary was actually larger than it looked in the pictures. (Most places are the other way round!) Everything was very well thought out and there was a large number of activities, books etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful, giving us a farm and Medieval Village tour, offering their... Our friends all live at far ends of the country and with growing numbers of children, getting together is getting more and more difficult, but the Granary at Brackenborough Hall offers the space and number of bed spaces we need to get together. Eight adults and three children fitted more than comfortably with enough space to eat, play and relax... More

Stayed at Brackenborough Hall for a friends birthday. What a truly excellent place to stay. The owners could not be friendlier and they are so helpful. The apartments are rustic and very well furnished. It's the perfect place for families, with so many toys and games for young and old. Paul, the owner, gave us a tour of the farm... More

It was my 40th birthday so I was looking for a weekend venue that suited enough accommodation, child friendly and stuff to do during the day. This venue ticked all the boxes and more; in fact because it was snowing the weekend we went we've got to go back and do all the stuff that was on offer. Paul and... More

We were fortunate to win a short break at Brackenborough Hall - Granary, at the Jubilee celebrations, near my parents village. So I invited my sister and family to join my husband, daughter and I to stay with us in this wonderful accommodation, so that we could all be together for my mums birthday. Paul and Flora have thought of... More
