“Scotland at its best”

We have been to Gairloch three times with Shearings one of the best locations for watching the dolphins from the hotel restaurant, friendly staff .Very good drivers, Cant wait to to go again. Take a trip on the Westerbus tour around Applecross with Colin who will tell you all about Gairloch and the surrounding area,and its a fun day out

“What a location!”

Shearings give amazing value - and we thoroughly enjoyed our self-drive week at Gairloch. Okay, the hotel is fairly basic - it must be so difficult maintaining Victorian buildings, especially those exposed to the Scottish elements - but we'd a great time, were very comfortable, ate well and felt we'd certainly had our money's worth. thankyou to all staff at the Gairloch Hotel for a fantastic holiday this includes Stuart or driver and we wish him well in the future, food entertainment were all 1st class and the restuarant staff were all exceptional thankyou you once again this holiday showed the true Scotland

Thank you for your review, the practise within Shearings is to send the list of those booked ten days prior to arrival for the hotel to allocate rooms taking into consideration all requests received, this allows the hotel to allocate rooms looking at overall requests and overall availability and I am glad we were able to satify your fathers need... More
