My wife and I spent five nights at the Kerrysdale, the third time we've been there in the last five years. As usual, we were very comfortable and very well looked after. We paid the highest room-rate of our trip, for our stay in Gairloch and are still puzzling what we got for our money. The house is lovely and our hostess was charming, but its a bit out of town with no sea views. Our hospitality tray was spartan and breakfast was average, but we didn't try the cooked breakfast. more

Fantastic B&B in an old farmhouse just outside Gariloch itself. It has just three guest bedrooms (pne double with large private bathroom, and two double/twin each with large en suite bathroom). We took one of the en-suite which was well-furnished and very comfortable. Service friendly and very food wonderful. Owners are also very environmentally conscious. [----] more
