Interesting, welcoming, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast. A thoroughly pleasant stay. We would go again if back in the area. Our host was very charming and kept the children amused. He was a genial host and his wife produced the great food as well as having a great range of homemade jams and preserves on sale. Lovely quiet location in this... More

The best part of staying at a B&B is meeting friendly and unique inn keepers. David and Simone are one of the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our short visit with them including fascinating discussions about history, pottery and local sites. The facilities are excellent and the breakfast unbeatable including excellent coffee. The location within the medieval village of Lacock is... More

We stayed for two nights. The hosts were lovely and entertaining, the rooms are warm and cozy, the village is nice and quiet, and the breakfast was fantastic. It was a very pleasant stay and i would highly recommend it.

This is my first review, one I am inspired to write having spent a lovely 4 days at Lacock Pottery B and B in Wiltshire. It was a terrific experience - clean, comfortable rooms, delcious home-cooked and fullsome breakfasts, extremely friendly people and a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail - spare... More

David and Simone are very friendly and accommodating hosts with an enchanting B & B located in the charming setting of one of England's oldest villages. Easy walking distance to the whole of the small village with a couple of very nice pubs. Thoroughly recommended.

Arrived around 6p.m. with no reservation. Welcomed by David and Simone who chatted away easily as they showed us to a room. They were excellents hosts with a great sense of humour and a source of information on many topics. The B&B is in the Old Work House building with beautiful and quirky features. The open fire in the living/dining... More

A slightly belated review, as I stayed here with friends back in December. We'd originally planned to stay in Bath for the night & I'm so glad we didn't, as we wouldn't have experienced Lacock. Having arrived late afternoon, we headed out for a walk around beautiful Lacock, armed with tips on the best pubs in the village from David,... More

We booked late and had to take a booking with reviews that led us to expect Basil Faulty. The boisterous greeting in the car park with a rendition of waltzing matilda was forceful but cheerful and overall our negative expectations were very pleasantly disappointed. The artist landlord was eccentric but interesting and welcoming. The b&b is a national trust building... More

Just thought I'd mention that they DO have free wireless internet access. This isn't mentioned anywhere on their website. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My cab didn't show up on time so they gave me a ride to the Chipphenham train station!
