We have been raving about Creag Mhor Lodge ever since we stayed here a month ago! We had a beautiful and large room looking out over the Loch. Waking up to see the morning sun glinting on the Loch and the stunning mountains beyond was very special. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Breakfast was beyond... more

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Creag Mhor and this time we took my Mum because we had raved about the place so much she just had to see it for herself. She was so glad she came as she agreed with us that the rooms are extremely well decorated and comfortable, the owners... more

Without a doubt one of the best B&B's we've stayed in. Fabulous hosts, fantastic views, great rooms, great breakfasts. The lounge bar with real fire, comfy sofa's and great service, made for a very relaxing stay and a wonderful place to unwind after a days walking. 10/10. more

Highly recommended for cozy comfort and the most friendly helpful staff. The views from the Lodge are fantastic and in October the colours of the trees and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. It was a real pleasure to sit in the cozy Whisky Bar and just relax; the owners and staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. As a... more

We have just come back from a wonderful 4 night break and experienced the most comfortable, best value and most welcoming bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. We had a beautiful large en suite bedroom overlooking the loch with wonderful views. The room was spotless and cleaned meticulously. There was a wonderful choice at breakfast. The porridge and... more

a_marcellinus must have been unlucky. On our trip, the rooms were fine and good value. Most noticeable was the excellent breakfast and efforts made by the staff to be welcoming and helpful. Lounge was very cosy too. more

My wife & I first stayed at Creag Mhor Lodge earlier this year and the fact we have returned at the earliest opportunity shows Alison, her husband, Mum, Dad and brother are doing a great job at providing the kind of quailty you only find in the very best guest houses. We had what we now like to describe as... more

We stayed at the Creag Mhor Lodge in October for a wedding at the Onich Hotel in October. We stayed for 2 nights and thought it was very good value for money! The house itself is absolutely beautiful and very inviting. There is the owner at the main desk that warmly welcomes you and explains all that is on offer,... more

Contrary to a_marcellinus and co., our stay at Creag Mhor was a delight! After a few last-minute phone calls, our search for two double rooms for a night was rewarded at Creag Mhor (with a stop on the way for splendid tea and homemade shortbread at the Glengarry Castle Hotel). Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by our host... more

Calling this place a "bed and breakfast" (as their sign says) is very generous. B&Bs tend to be friendly and personal and make you feel like a long-lost friend -- not a chump to be exploited for every last pound. This place is in a lovely building, but everything else makes it feel very cheap. It is right next to... more
