We stayed two nights at Craiglinnhe House and were fortunate to be upgraded to a front room with views over the loch. The house has a charming air about it, with lovely breakfast room and sitting room, both looking out over the loch. The main road runs between the house and the loch, but we didn't find it to be... Beautiful place, very nice people, lovely room, very clean place, excellent breakfast, sound hiking advise. We stayed there for 2 nights on a hiking weekend, and we will definitely go back there at some stage. More

We had a very warm welcome from Beverly, David and Mousse (the Labrador). We enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal of smoked salmon pâté , loin of pork with porcini mushrooms and poached pears with chocolate sauce. Just what we needed to start our holiday. More

We stayed for three nights in the superior double room which has fantastic views overlooking the Loch, very comfortable with a traditional feel - in keeping with a trip to the Scottish Highlands! Nice touches were the fresh flowers in the room, book and DVD collection just outside the rooms, plus fresh milk for tea and coffee - important if... More

We stayed here as part of a whistle-stop tour of the UK and this was one of our most memorable stopovers. Beverley is very welcoming and friendly, the house is beautifully appointed, the location stunning. Great value for money, a winning formula. More

Located right on the loch. Nice, clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Very friendly atmosphere. Not much in walking distance, though we did walk ~2 miles to a local restaurant one night. More

Stayed in for one night touring Scotland in July 2011. Easy to find -not far from the Glencoe to Fort William road. Our was a superior room (good shower!) overlooking Loch Linnhe and the view was amazing -photographs do not do the view justice. Owner Beverley was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area. However, we didnt have a great... More

Some points of clarification regarding this review: 1. The recently purchased high quality mattress in the room in question is fairly soft which may account for the "uncomfortable " night's sleep remark. Perhaps this guest is more used to a firmer mattress. 2. This guest stayed for the minimum one night in a superior room during one of our busiest... More
