I can absolutely recommend this bed & breakfast. I have stayed in Lynda and Ian's home during my visits to the Borders Region during three consecutive years. Everything is just perfect: the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious, breakfasts are served with homemade treats, the location is gorgeous and Kelso and Jedburgh are very close. I will certainly be back... more

Linda and Ian's home lives up to its 5 Star rating in buckets. Linda's welcoming nature, excellent rooms, super views and wonderful breakfast with plenty of home-made - marmalade, jam, scones - and even home made fudge to take away. Definitely a place to head for. more

We have now stayed for two consequetive Autumns. The location is idyllic, there is ample and easy parking. However, the most important factor is the Hostesses attention to detail and her welcoming hospitality is unsurpassed with the added delight of home baked cookies. The rooms are extremely attactive and comfortable, the overall ambiance is tasteful and luxurious - breakfast is... more

Our second visit; this time we brought brother and sister-in-law along visiting from Oz. Lynda is a truly wonderful host and her home and gardens are lovely. Tray bakes on arrival out on the decking were a perfect start to a wonderful weekend. Thoroughly deserves the 5 star rating. Adrian and Mikki more

Lynda was a wonderful host, pampering us during the whole of our 5 night stay. Everything about the house, room, breakfast and the location, was perfect and Lynda fully deserves the 5 star rating, for her B & B. We would certainly stay again when in the area and would unhesitantly recommend Eckford Hall to anyone. more

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in June when visiting friends in Hawick. We had seen her reviews on Visit Scotland and thought we give it a try. Although Eckford Hall is about 20 minutes from Hawick it was worth the travelling time for the experience that we were to receive from Lynda. Everything, I repeat EVERYTHING is... more

We stayed with Lynda for three nights and loved every minute. She pampered us with tea/coffee/cakes/traybakes etc etc ect and she definitely serves one of the best breakfasts in the Borders. The region is stunning, and the B & B is positioned close to Kelso but only a few miles from Jedburgh too, where there are some really good eating... more
