A warm welcome awaited us at this traditional Scottish hotel. Room was comfortable with all ameneties needed, including tea and coffee making facilities. Nicely located in the middle of the town with free parking out the front or round the back in the day. Nice room very Scottish feel to it. Booked for location and capacity, more than anything else. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and exceeded my expectations by some margin. Rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment. Unusually, for a Scottish hotel, the bar is poorly stocked. more
