Almost immediately struck up a warm rapport with our host (Jimmy). He was so friendly and shared his local knowledge. The B&B was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely room overlooking their exceptional garden. A fabulous home-from-home and I would happily return. Abbey location in Kelso, close to all amenities, restaurants & pubs. Abbeyside is extremely clean, with comfortable beds. Hospitality is fantastic with generous breakfasts and lots to choose from. We stayed two nights at Abbeyside, just 2 minutes walk into the centre of Kelso but tucked away from busy roads giving us a lovely quiet sleep. Our host Jimmy was a real jem - friendly and a great cook, with a very pretty garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. More
