This bed and breakfast turned out to be a real gem. We booked at the last minute, and found our hosts most welcoming when we arrived. There are only 2 rooms, and we stayed in the twin. This was a spacious room, nicely decorated, with a sofa, a wide flat-screen TV/DVD and even a flask of cold milk for tea plus chocolate biscuits. We were served tea and biscuits in the garden on arrival, plus a pleasant chat . We were given helpful advice about where to eat and visit the next day. Breakfast was very good too. The room had a lovely view of the Galloway hills as well. Value for money was excellent (£25 each). We will definitely go back again. more
