Hawthorn House is a beautiful bed and breakfast, very friendly welcome, very good recommendations for restaurants in town, delicious breakfast , clean and spacy room, perfect hosts, and the weather was better than Spain Look forward to returning Larry and Helen more

With 20 excellent reviews (now 21 ) what can I add without repeating what has gone before. Suffice to say that only the deteriorating weather cut short our stay. Our No1 choice next time we are in the area. more

I couldn't recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough: I had a completely restful two days and was sorry to leave. I cant say enough good things about Tim, Hilary & wee Ted the dog! We had a superb time staying with Tim and Hilary when visiting the area for a friend's wedding. They gave us a warm welcome despite the awful weather when we arrived. Their company was enjoyable and friendly, but not intrusive. The breakfast was delicious including scrambled eggs and salmon and a beautiful bowl full of prunes, figs, peach slices etc.... more

What a lovely place to stay! Just like home from home. A lovely setting overlooking the sea at Luce Bay. Friendly and relaxed.
