Beautiful views from the lounge and front bedrooms over Ullapool and Lochbroom (book a front room if you can but be warned that the competition is strong). Well worth the rating it gets. We first thought Ardvreck might be a bit too far out of town, being just over 2kms away, but it has such amazing views of Ullapool and the loch itself, that it's really worth staying there.
