Arrived here after a winding journey from Isle of Skye. We were met by Mena and shown our room. Absolutely beautiful. Large room with a stunning view of the pond and garden. The bed a welcome comfort after driving some distance and the bath, ahhhhh. After returning from dinner we sat by the open fire in the lounge...relaxing. Breakfast, traditional... more

We stayed here 4 years ago, and were impressed by the quiet atmosphere and lovely gardens, plus good rooms and excellent service from hosts Mena and Robyn. On staying again this year, we found that the only thing that had changed was that it was even better! Dining is a feature, and the small but interesting menu is always changing.... more

We stayed there in late September 2004. The Dower House is an incredibly lovely family home in a little town near Inverness. When we arrived we were greeted by Mena, the owner. She showed us to our rooms. Our suite was large and well decorated with a beautiful view of the gardens. It included a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom.... more
