This B&B is situated on a very remote location with no noise of any traffic whatsoever, and is therefore the perfect place to escape the business of our hometown in the Netherlands. The room is clean and comfortable. Also the bathroom is perfectly clean and contains the most powerful shower I have ever experienced. In fact, when I started messing... More

2 of our party of 4 had a one night booking for B & B with Harvey & Christina at Tigh an Eilein. When 4 bedraggled, exhausted cyclists arrived late from the ferry having tackled the infamous 'Peat Road' in atrocious weather we were not sure of the welcome we would receive. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating... More

We stayed for 2 nights with Harvey and Christina and enjoyed excellent accommodation. The room was extremely cosy and comfortable with superb bathroom facilities - all spotlessly clean! Breakfast was great and set us up to face the somewhat challenging weather (even by Hebridean standards!) when battling the elements on our bikes it was great to know we could look... More

It is worth going to Harris. Our time on this quaint and historic Scots Isle made our trip, largely due to Christina and Harvey. Staying at Tigh an Eilein greatly enriched our Scotland holiday. We were graciously welcomed by Christina and Harvey and quickly became fast friends. Each time we returned to the B&B after venturing out Harvey was enthusiastically... More

Loved our stay at 5A Flodabay. Host and Hostess were great friends. Help was given in finding a place to eat supper, as this was our first trip to Harris. We took the over the hill route which Harvey said he could do in 45 minutes. We, because of being unfamiliar with the road, and stopping to take pictures of... More

Stayed in August 2012 while on honeymoon. Easy to find UTTERLY STUNNING location The welcome goes like this: you arrive - you shake hands - ten seconds go past - you feel like you have known Harvey and Christina for years... Plenty parking Very quiet Beautiful spacious room Bathroom is a good size Very comfortable bed Loads of well-sourced local... More

It is a beautiful place, the view from the sleeping room is great and the hosts are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and we get homebaked cake on our arrive. The atmosphere is very warm and we loved the stories Harvey was telling us about Harris - specially thatone about the sheep on Scarp??? Just ask him!... More

This is a beautiful B&B in an unusual and stunning location overlooking the sea. Everything is spotless and the room is comfortable and well equipped. Harvey and Christina are perfect hosts, and the breakfast was wonderful. What more could we ask?

Christina and Harvey could not have been more welcoming to their lovely home in The Bays area of the east coast of Harris. We could not fault anything during our stay from the scrupulously clean and comfortable en suite bedroom (with the fluffiest towels ever!) to the filling Scottish breakfast each morning. I do not think anyone would be disappointed... More

The B&B of Cristina and Harvey is the best ever. It felt like coming home. We stayed 3 nights and we were glad that we picked this one. The hosts are very nice and tell you everything about the island and are really intrested in you. We did see an otter at the arrivel day, that had to be a... More
