no heating on and when we asked for it told it wasn't available in July, the owners television kept us awake , when we complained we were told it was always loud when they wanted to watch sky sports. breakfast was late and the coffee was like warm. more

Hirta House is quite simply everything a B & B should be. A little off the beaten track in Scalpay but only a 10 minute drive back to Tarbet for pubs etc. Our room was very comfortable with large bed, modern bathroom and a great view over the Minch.
