I'm taking the trouble to write this review in the hope that no-one else makes the same mistake that we did. We stayed here while working away from home and weren't expecting anything special but were absolutely horrified at the state of the place. In my naiveté I didn't think that places like this still existed!
The place hasn't been touched since the 1970's, the carpets were literally threadbare, the tiles were cracked, the basin chipped, the furniture worn out, the entrance hall smelt of wet dog, the shower a lukewarm dribble and the beds were so bouncy and had so little support that I woke up with pins and needles in both hands and one foot!
If you're still thinking about it - don't. It was too bad for a bunch of builders, if I'd been staying with my wife we'd have walked out and slept in the car instead! Nasty. more
