we have been coming to barmouth for the last few years and only recently discovered the royal hotel.It was formerly an american pool bar hence our first time there.We were aware that there was a new restaurant and decided to give it a go.unfortunatly we could not get as table on the thursday they were fully booked.The waiter then asked if we would like a table for the following evening.We arrived 7pm and were immedietly greeted by a warm fire and a glass of whine.The place was busy but the waiters and bar staff always found time to talk to use and make us feel wanted.what a wonderful place.Then for the food, it was fantastic!. not the cheapest we have had but you definetly get what you pay for.we will be back more
