Travelled in coach party for four-night stay. Hotel and staff very welcoming. The food in the restaurant was fresh cooked and plentiful, if a little unimaginative. Booked a single room and was given a good size twin. Bathroom very clean and water hot. Some of our party had a little difficulty understanding the freeview box TV but staff were on... More

We have had a lovely weekend at the Fishguard Bay Hotel. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after by Liz at reception and Andrew at the bar. Our room was large and very clean and tidy. A gorgeous view and we totally relaxed. Our evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast. I would recommend the Bay... More

My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Fishguard Bay Hotel and left feeling extreamly relaxed and spoilt! The staff took great care of us, from Liz on reception ensuring we got the room we wanted, to Andrew in the bar who gave us great service, through to Mrs Peake who cooks the best breakfasts EVER! Great poached... More

I have just stayed at Fishguard Bay Hotel for the Easter weekend. Our room was a good size with tea and coffee facilities. The shower was in the bath and looked a bit old however when used it was a powerful flow. The room was clean and the beds comfy with good bedding. The tv had a strange switch by... More

Spent a weekend here in mid February 2013. Edwardian period hotel. Dated but comfortable room ( a little on the dark side) and hotel surroundings. Staff willing and cheerful. Meals homely and plentiful. Wonderful views of Cardigan Bay with lots of interesting walks. Would appeal to walkers, country lovers and bird watchers wanting a break away from it all. Be... More

My second visit to this hotel for a writers' weekend. Lovely peaceful setting overlooking the bay and a nice walk at the back of the hotel up to the top of the cliff if you have the energy. Retains its Edwardian ambience, quiet and elegant. My bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in but I was... More

I organised a surprise 70th birthday meal for my mother in one of the small select function rooms for a small group of family. The service was amazing and the food was outstanding. I have eaten there before and the food was average but for our function it was out of this world, everyone complemented it. It was a thoroughly... More

We stumbled on the Fishguard hotel after missing the last ferry to Rosslare. It has an imposing spot above the harbour and we were delighted when we realised the lovely building we had spotted was indeed somewhere we could stay. It has a lovely old world seaside hotel charm and the rooms are spacious and comfy if a little dated.... More
