This is by far the best in town in my experience of 20 years of visiting. The owners are charming and really put themselves out to ensure that you enjoy your stay. We love the rooms, the breakfast and the little extras which June & Eugene provide to make you feel welcome. Well behaved dogs are welcome and ours are... more

Second time we have stayed at New Hall and will definitely stay again. Ideal base for walking and exploring the local area. Bedrooms, lounge area and food are excellent. Hospitality can't be beaten. It is a real "home from home" and our stay was very relaxing - we were treated as though we were part of the family. A welcoming... more

We spent a few days at New Hall during the August Bank Holiday and can highly recommend it as a very good place to stay in mid-Wales. Located in a very quiet village famous for it's annual Bog Snorkelling Championships, there are some very good eating places with the added bonus of being surrounded by the most beautiful welsh scenery.... more

Our stay was a delightful experience! We were struck by the grace and friendliness of the hosts who gave their time readily for advice or a chat, and were seemingly always available. They have the gift of making you feel special and totally welcome in their home. We were allowed access to our room and the very comfortable guest lounge... more

My wife and I spent a weekend here when the Hay on Wye festival was on. The owners are very hospitable and relaxed. They made us feel very welcome and kept the guest house immaculately clean. Llanwrytd Wells offers some cracking pubs and we had an excellent meal in the Carlton Riverside and enjoyed the surrounding beautiful countryside. If like... more

I stayed two nights with two friends on a mountain biking jaunt. The accomodation is very clean, comfortable, well-appointed and generally of a high quality. The breakfast is to die for - a broad selection of high quality and lovingly prepared traditional fare, served with pride and a smile. But the best thing of all is the hospitality: nothing is... more

Went to stay with June and Eugene for the May bank holiday. Want a lovely place a real 'home from home'. Nothing was too much trouble, it was fabulous having the dog and cat there, they are no trouble and appreciate a friendly stroke. The breakfast was heaven and set us up for the day, which was helpfully planned out... more
