Took the dog for a relaxing few days away. Fantastic views from the site & throughout the area. Fantatsic walks (although OS map essential as the Welsh farmers evidently don't appreciate ramblers on their land & seem to have removed all the rights of way markers!). Victoria Wells itself is lovely. Yes, so it's not exactly the Ritz, but for... more

My wife and I along with our two friends have just returned from a three night stay at Victoria Wells. It was a last minute deal for a 4 berth detached log cabin (one double and one twin room) with dinner and breakfast included. It was advertised in a Saturday newspaper and as it was described as "......the nearest you... more

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend in May and were both very pleasantly surprised. The site and surrounding areas are beautiful and tranquil. The cabin was very cosy and warm, with lovely views. The management and staff were all very helpful and friendly, food was good and the well-stocked bar stayed open until we'd had enough!!... more

It is difficult to review this place as it never claims to be anything it`s not ! having read reviews here after booking we were not expecting it to be very good and was discussing going out to eat ( as we are foodies and fussy ) but the food was acceptable nothing fancy but edible, what you would expect... more

got there late for a 3 night stay. can't fault it for the price-plenty hot water, warm cabin-they put the heater on for us, only spent £1 in meter all time there! included b/f and dinner meals which were great-choice of 3 at dinner. very quick service, no noise on site. only downside is no shop, but local village ones... more

We booked this accommodation for a family of 4 for 2 nights over a weekend. We arrived at about 9.30pm Friday night, not exceptionally late as we had travelled from London. We found our cabin cold and damp. Awful . You have to pay for electricity and none had been put on prior to our arrival. We could not wash.... more

Together with a friend I visited Victoria Wells for a two night stay mainly due to the ability to take my dog and indeed the holiday was great for her. The accommodation was basic to say the least as also 'dingy'. The bedding was damp, possibly due to not having been used for some time and no heating having been... more
