Spent two nights at Phoenix Hollow and every aspect was wonderful. Courteous owners, beautiful brooms and so much attention to detail. I can't recommend it enough! Just off the highway and close to the restaurants in Windsor.

Kelly & John are outstanding hosts - Phoenix Hollow is a small b & b and it shows in the attention to detail and the ability for the hosts to give you lots of good recommendations. The rooms were well decorated (lots of Kelly's great art on the walls), clean and had a lot of great additional features. Breakfast was... More

The Phoenix Hollow had been recommended to us, but my wife and I had no idea what was waiting for us for our five day business trip in beautiful Windsor, Nova Scotia! Once you enter through the front door, behold an unexpected spectacle for all senses: a majestic red carpeted stairwell, high walls and ceilings masterfully embellished, incredibly appealing paintings... We were recently in Nova Scotia on a combined business/holiday trip. We didn't want to stay in a hotel in Halifax and were looking for a more intimate setting away from the city, yet central enough to facilitate exploration of the island. We found Phoenix Hollow in Windsor NS by searching TripAdvisor and are we ever glad we did. After... More

When making recommendations to my clients it is extremely important that the professionalism and values of the people I speak for match up to those that i would provide. The level of service that is received will be a direct reflection of what those very important clients will anticipate from me. Kelly and John share a passion for their business... More

From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were home. The hospitality and attention to detail was second to none. The experience was so enjoyable that we cancelled reservations at another B&B to return to the Phoenix Hollow. Can't wait to return with the kids so that they can enjoy Kelly' & John's awesome Bed & Breakfast. We... More

Oh my Coplands - I am so glad you came back for a second stay - what a lovely review - I hope to see you again in the future with your family or on your own - I enjoyed our talks over sherry in the front living room and hope your future plans come to fruition! kelly More

I have never stayed at a B&B before mostly because I thought it would be very uncomfortable staying in a strangers home. Kelly made this experience such an incredible one. She was so warm and welcoming that all of our concerns disappeared immediately. We arrived around 6 then quickly freshened up and headed to the local pub "Spitfire" on Kelly's... More

I am happy that your first stay in a B&B was a good one - there are some very nice little b&B spots around the world that simply add to your stay if you should be lucky enough to stay with one. I hope this has encouraged you to try more and I hope your new little puppy is happy... More

We were playing in a curling bonspiel with friends and stayed here for the weekend. It was nice to be so close to the curling club that we were able to walk there for our games. It felt like having our own private mansion for the weekend with a built in chef in the kitchen for breakfast. I recommend those... More

I travel extensively on business so it is always nice if I can find a bed and breakfast or inn to make it feel a little more like a home away from home. The challenge with this is that often these B&B's are not that conveniently located in terms of being within walking distance of cafes, pubs and shops. The... More

Thank you for your review - we are so glad to be the home away from home for business visitors and we strike to have everything they might need while visiting. Both rooms have 27"flat screen HD tvs with fiber optic pvrs and dvd players - however the grandness of the room does dwarf them abit - especially in the... More

My wife and I went to Windsor last weekend and stayed at the Phoenix Hollow and that was by far the best bed and breakfast we've ever experienced. It was like living in an old mansion with twelve foot ceilings and beautiful antique furniture. Our bedroom was superb. It had it's own well furnished bathroom and the room had everything... More
