Got to cottage and had to wait for over 1/2 hr for owner to show up even though we called 45 min before we arrived to give him time to get there - he only lives 10 min from cottage. The cottage wasn't swept and there were coffee stains on the counter. The beds were not made and nothing was done to prepare for our arrival. Had to clean the cupboard before could put food away. Went and bought $100.00 worth of food to barbecue. When we went to use the barbecue the burner was rotted out and it was filthy. It took over 1/2 to cook our food so we ate out after that. The owner did go and buy toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and did come back to put a sheet on each bed and gave 2 tea towels and 2 dish clothes. We had already paid for 5 days so we stayed 4 and left. Although the bathroom was modern it had a very musty, moldy smell with visable mold.
