Pretty average place -clean, helpful staff and good breakfasts. Rooms compact. Public and some bedrooms have great views. Location at entrance to town but not a problem. Fantastic trekking and other leisure options - we were lucky as weather excellent. Picture of room above is flattering - not as light in ours.

Lovely hotel with super friendly staff. Sitting for hours on their couch, watching the sky change colour behind fitz roy after long hikes was the high light of my time in el Chalten. I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, good pillows, bed and a nice shower. The staff was very friendly and provided me with the information I needed to hike the area. The location is great but El Chalten is small so hard not to have a good location.

What an amazing sight........open your eyes and see the sun rise over Cerro Fitz Roy! This upstairs room was clean and comfortable and all I could wish for. Reading room, internet access, dining room all with lovely views. Staff available and helpful. Great value in this hiking paradise!

Hotel La Aldea is excellently located, a very short walk from the bus station, with the town on it's doorstep. The rooms are very clean, though little small in size. The staff are cheery and helpful. Breakfast (served upstairs in the main building) is plentiful, with regular refills whenever quantities run low. Internet terminals are available at no additional cost.... More

Family-run hotel, the staff is super nice and helpful. They have a cozy bar/cafe and serve quality coffee and also nice selection of alcoholic drinks. Would definitely stay here again!

this place serves real espresso coffee, each cup handmade every morning for breakfast. cant beat that. also helpful guide who speaks english!
