I went to this same hotel and the attention was great....I don't know what the clowns above are talking about. This is South America..if you want to go there...go with an open mind if not...stay home.. The beaches are beautiful, the food amaizing....the drinks very very strong...so..if you can't take it...don't drink it... more

My partner and I stayed at Pueblo Caribe for two weeks back in 2008. I have written a review before but I feel compelled to write again to warn people about Pueblo Caribe and the horrifying ordeal we experienced there. We had our drinks spiked at the hotel bar and woke up semi-clothed and injured and with no memory of... more

My husband and I have been back a week now and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel could do with good clean and spruce up and the food was very samey. However as a vegetarian I coped quite well we were there for 1 week. The sea was very rough but I prefer the pool anyway so no problem... more

I stayed in Pueblo Caribe for two weeks from 17. February 2009 and together with my partner we both had a wonderful time. I don't understand how can the reviews differ so much. Yes, the hotel rooms were simple, but we only stayed in our room at night. The beach in front of the hotel also wasn't great, but if... more

I returned on Monday from this resort and say again, go, and make your own decision. I have just read through again the reports I read before I went and wonder whether the writers were just damned unlucky or expecting more. Let us get to the point. First Choice graded this as a 2 star. That is what it is... more

I landed this morning and wanted to write the review as fresh as possible. The Pueblo Caribe is a lovely 2* hotel and if like us you paid around £700 for two weeks you will probably come away happy. If you paid much more I can understand why some people have issues. But in my experience the hotel and the... more

What a shoddy hotel!! Don't htink it's ready for British tourists yet - they just don't look after you well at all. The hotel actually ruined the holiday to a certain extent. I wish we'd stayed elsewhere and would definitely recommend that people pay a few quid extra to stay in a much better hotel instead. The island is really... more

It is Not SAFE for girls or families to go to Margarita. We had the holiday from hell. If you have booked via First choice i'm sure they haven't told you that every other airline has pulled out from Margarita and they will be pulling out in April because it is unsafe for British Passengers. On the first night my... more
