First, when we arrived at the Best Western Puerto Viejo Airport Inn, we had to pay for our full two nights when we checked in, we couldn't keep a credit card open.

After checking in and arriving at our room, we had to put our key card in a a devise inside the fron door to allow the air conditioner and all other electric to work, we asked for an extra key card but the person at the front desk said they were out.


We took a walk by the pools, one was empty and the other two where being treated, so the sign stated, but the sign did look like it had been there for a few days. I then went to their private beach and found that there was alot of litter with a couple bags of trash under a palm tree. I also went down the following morning and the same litter and trash bags we still there. There were also savenger bird, buzzards living in the palm trees and eating the garbage on the beach. So needless to say we did not swim in the pool or stay on the beach. There... more
