Hotel plaza catedral was horrible. i stayed in a five-bed room with some friends. the air conditioning was never cool and the employees said that they were trying to conseve energy. To try to adjust the setting of the unit, maids were sent after about 45 minutes of calling and visiting the front desk each time an adjustment was necessary with the only remote-control for all of the units in the building which was quite ridiculous seeing that the maids didn't even know how to operate the unit. This air conditioning problem forced us to open the window and the balcony door at night time which allowed for the entrance of mosquitoes which ate us alive. Moving on to the sanitation facilities, the toilet seat was broken, the tiles on the floor were also broken, there were cockroaches and the shower area was so small that if one were to bend down to soap his/her legs, they would knock their head.
