My husband and I stayed here in May 2009 for 5 nights. Lynn and Kurt are very friendly, and we had breakfast and dinner there everyday. Lynn's banana muffins are to die for. Lynn is the owner/wife of Luckys- she is so lovely, she asked us every morning what we would like for dinner and catered for us very well.... more

If you want to relax, go to Lucky's. I've never stayed at a place where I've felt so welcome. Lynn and Kurt were fantastic hosts. They were quick to respond to my emails, willing to help with tours, and let me tag along on trips into Neiafu. The fales were well maintained and the separate bathroom facilities were clean. The... more

Lucky's beach houses provides a variety of accomodation from a traditional beach fale to the green house which came with its own bathroom, kitchen and fans. Accomodation is not grand, but it is clean, comfortable and right on the beach front. The location was beautiful and the food was amazing! more

there's a lot of tourism debacles in tonga, and some "resorts" are so bad it's a joke, unless you end up there. Lucky's is not one of these places. We stayed there for about 4 days and found it well run, well located, and Keith and his family were very hospitable and welcoming. more

In our stay at 3 different places around Tonga, Luckys Beach houses stood out as our favorite. Lynn,Kurt and Keith are the perfect hosts. They are more than happy to assist with any questions, bookings or requests. We traveled with 2 young kids (3yo and 8month old) and Lynn and Keith spent time making them feel at home. We booked both... more

We stayed 6 nights and found Lucky's to be owned by a delighful family, full of good information and enthusiasim to help you out. Lyn drove to the airport (approx 45min each way) twice to pick us up (due to Chatham pacific break downs) and we were still greeted with a beaming smile. Accomodation was as described - clean and... more

What a great place to stay! Lynn picked us up at the airport and after a stop for shopping we were 'home'. Kurt and Lynn made us feel so welcome and the view from the bungalow was amazing - blue sea, plam trees and a lovely swimming beach. more

Tucked away in a small village about 20 minutes drive south from Neifau town is the best place to stay in Vavau, to experience the islands. We stayed at Lucky’s Beach Houses for about 8 nights and we loved it. It was very relaxed and down to earth. The view was wonderful and location was excellent. Ironically, some of the... more

We spent four nights staying in a fale on the beach front at Lucky's Beach House. At 60 paanga a night the cost was very reasonable. Lucky's is the only tourist place in a small Tongan village at the end of an island. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and we had the chance to take part in the... more

We recently had four nights at this charming place. We stayed in the traditionally fale at $60TOP per night. The hosts, accommodation, snorkelling and kayaking the best we experienced during our two week exploration of Tonga. We couldnt fault it. Kurt, the host took us on a guided kayak and snorkelling trip (at no cost) and Lynn his wife cooked... more
