We visited Lake Bosomtwe for 3 nights (4-7th August), and we had a wonderfully relaxing break. The lake, surrounded by the tropical rain forest, is beautifully calm and alluring. This is a very nice 3-4* resort at the beautiful Lake Bosumtwe in Ghana. It is the only hotel (that I am aware of) at the lake that will give you things like air conditioning and television. This Hotel is in the basin of a meteor crater that is now a lake. The setting is so very peaceful. The rooms are adequate: Clean and quite large. In the quiet beautiful meteor crater an air conditioned oasis sits about 30 miles from the chaos of the city. Good wine selection, variety of food on the menu, generator, satellite tv, and fridge in each room. It was a pleasant surpise to find it. more
