We had a great trip and stayed in a wonderful lodge. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We enjoyed our game drives and even though the Sanctuary has been suffering dreadfully from drought, there was still plenty of game to see and watch. It was great to see so many new-born animals. This gives hope that the... more

Chui Lodge is suffering from the lack of rain that Kenya as whole has suffered from and consequently the animals are in very poor condition. It is more of a wildlife park than a safari as the area is quite small 20,000 acres and the animals are fenced in and in relativley small numbers in comarison to the Masia. The... more

Small lodge with incredible wood carvings in the rooms. Excellent place to see the wildlife - in particular the flamingos on the lake. Also good food and service. more

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon. We were very impressed with the place and had a wonderful time. It offers a great alternative to the Mara and other more well known safai locations in Kenya due to the different animals that can be seen here such as Flamingo's and White Rhino. Also the landscape is... more

We just returned from Kenya and spent 2 days at Chui. I found it to be an excellent lodge - with only 8 bandas it retains its intimacy and personal service. We saw three leopards in one evening (two together up a tree which is quite unsual for such solitary animals!) together with rhinos, giraffes, water buffalo, hyenas etc etc... more

Chui is located inside of 1,800 hectors of private wildlife reserve, one of its kind in the world. Game drives and meals are all inclusive. Each of the 8 units has a fireplace and sizable bath room with garden bath tub & shower - perfect place to clean up after days of safari. Rose pedals were placed on counter every... more

I stayed at Chui Lodge in January this year and had a great time. It as so nice to have one's own private game reserve! We were there for 2 days and saw loads of game (including a lepoard and 3 rhino), and had a trip on the lake - saw pelicans (my favorite) and flamingoes. Also visited the propagation... more

I would like to put in a good word for Chui Lodge. I have visited Chui twice, the last time being in April of last year. In contrast to the latest review, my experience was very positive. We had three excellent meals a day and the service was top notch. We loved the game drives and John, our guide, was... more

We visited Chui Lodge located in a private game sanctuary within Naivasha on the 30th of December 2005. The lodge is built very well and the rooms have been built very nicely with a lot of attention to detail. We loved the game drive but what lets the place down is the food. We saw a leopard when we went... more
