Clean and safe. Reception seemed reasonably organised but didn't like charging anything to the room. Breakfast was poor and not very appetizing, stick to coffee and croissants. Rooms clean and well equipped, no room safes but security didn't seem to be an issue. Greta restaurant just a short walk from hotel. Good point is that Euros accepted everywhere. Afer the experience in the Hotel Saint Jaques Bord de Mer we changed to Palm Beach Hotel, which is owned by the Lebanese family, which also owns the local airline "TAC" (Trans Air Congo). The hotel is very expensive for what it offers. The rooms need urgent renovation. There was a lot of noise coming from the works that are ongoing right next to the hotel. Air conditioning also noisy. During the night the noise came from the massive generator that kept the energy "alive". Hookers like this place as well, maybe because it... more
