Stayed here for one night only and what a find! (thanks again trip advisor ) the accommodation is approx 20 minute drive east of Mossel Bay but the views are stunning over the ocean. Whales arrived for us to view on a sunny afternoon, but the weather turned overnight and was too blustery for them in the morning. Enormous breakfast... More

Thanks to Joy for her hospitality. The breakfast we had at whalephin was the best we had on our Garden route holiday. I am confident that if Louis would have been with you it could have been even better. The location of the B&B is a little away from Mossel bay but I felt vindicated of my choice when I... More

We stayed at the At Whale-Phin Guest Houst for 2 nights in April, an excellent base to visit the local attractions in the Mossel Bay area. What a lovely comfortable room with superb views of the bay - absolutely beautiful! Louis and Joy were excellent hosts, the English breakfast was very tasty and I adored Louis' home-made muesli. Both gave... More

Louis and Joy have worked very hard to make this a lovely guest house. They include many small simple amenities to make the stay nicer such as binoculars for bird and whale watching. They have an extensive local knowledge and are willing to make recommendations to all guests. The breakfast was delicious!

We had a wonderful stay at The Whale-Phin Bed And Beakfast. The view from the porch was fantastic. The owners Louis and Joy made us feel at home and were very helpful. We were there three nights and met several of the guest, all of whom were return visitors. Some of them had been coming back for years.

Another delightful stay at the Whale Phin my partners 6th stay and my 3rd. Joy and Louie are lovely warm hosts who made us and out four year old daughter feel very welcome. We spent one and a half day - two nights - at the Whale-Phin, 12 km far from Mossel Bay, 5 mins walking from the beach. This was the first booking we received via Booking.com and went through our nightsbridge booking system linked with the prices as shown on Nightsbridge. We never had any problem with the five years with Nightsbridge. A problem must have occurred between the Booking.com and Nightsbridge, which was reported to Nightsbridge. This problem is now solved. Our tariff for bed and... More
