This hotel has an almost unbelievable location. Views of the Indian Ocean, the lighthouse. You'd think it would be a great place. Well, not really. The night we stayed the place was virtually empty. I cannot disagree with The Point's principle claim to fame, the location, the hotel is right on the sea front and our room had great views over the sea. My husband and I stayed here on Feb 19, 2009. Supposedly a 5 star hotel. Not according to my standards and others in S Africa. Room was average. Tired and boring. Terrific location, right on the rocks, the hotel online brochure is pretty accurate. The room was great, with a nice balcony overlooking the rocks and the sea Staff were very courteous and helpful The restaurant food was good and not overpriced Location is great and some nice restaurants close by more

We stayed here on the 20th oct for 1 night. The views are stunning over the sea.The tidal pool was refreshing to say the least!!. We ate in the resturant next door which was not very good. The breakfast was excellent and we watched the whales whilst eating our bacon and eggs!!! Good place to stay for 1 night. more

We stayed here one night while travelling the garden route, lovely view of sea crashing on the rocks from the balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the overall bill was very reasonable. Would pay a lot more in England for the view alone. more

This hotel was a great stay! The hotel is built on the rocks and the balcony's with view towards the ocean is great. The service is very good and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. They are more than helpful with luggage and concierge information. The rooms are spacious and are very modern. Also is very close to good surfing! more

This hotel is in the beautiful city of Mossel Bay. It is located right on the Indian Ocean with spectacular views from all rooms. We had a double room with both rooms being very large and clean.
