Out of 12 different places we stayed in Tanzania, this was our favorite. We arrived to a tasty coconut beverage and a friendly intro/tour of the quiet resort. Our bungalow was beautiful! We stayed at Polepole for four nights at the end of a 7 day safari in the Serengeti, Ngorngoro and Tarangire through Expert Africa. Bit of a trek to get to all the resorts in Chole Bay along a rutted dirt road, after the only flight there in the afternoon from Dar es Salaam, which does not connect very well with the incoming early morning flights from Europe.
