We stated at the KIA lodge as part of an organized tour. It's on the airport property so it's very convenient. The rooms and grounds are clean and well-kept, and the staff is friendly. Overall it's a basic hotel without major frills. We would stay there again. more

It was great to get off a plane at 9PM and have a five minute drive to the hotel. The rooms are only just OK. The night crowd can be noisy, as most of them are celebrating coming off of Kilamanjaro. Location wasa great location to stay before a flight, but rooms needed some paint/cleaning. Food was good, but they tried too hard to provide upscale food that did not match the overall lodge. more

I stayed here for 2 nights in total during my safari. The hotel consists of a series of African style huts with each hut containing 2 hotel rooms. KIA Lodge is conveniently located a 2 minute drive from JRO airport. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. The lodge itself is lovely, grounds and well maintained with natural flora and comfortable rooms. Our bed was enormous!!
