Older facility with manucured grounds overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro. Very pleasant and accomodating staff--limited menu but with fresh vegtables from their gardens. Small bar with excellent prices and a TV on satellite. Very good wireless internet service in my room. The property is located on a hillside coffee plantation and you need to take a taxi to Moshi. We also ate... More

The location of the lodge is great - right below the mountain. When the clouds part (if they part), the view is spectacular. But the facilities are run down and the rooms desperately need updating (especially the bathrooms). The rates are way too high for what is offered. What makes up for it is the staff - the owner and... More

We arrived in group in december to lovely point with kilimanjaro in front of us. The managers themselves gave a warm welcome and spoke to everyone of us. Not much to do around and as for property, it was the worst on our trip. The service was run down and the managers run around and do everything themself. Friendly couple... More

We stayed at this lodge before and after our trek of Mount Kilimanjaro. The property is pretty on the outside and has beautiful views of the mountain. The food is tasty and plentiful and Doris (prepared our eggs each morning) was a pleasure to begin our day with! Thanks Doris for the nice smile and great breakfast! Once inside your... More

Stayed here before and after our Kilimajaro climb. Is a nice place - comfortable beds, pleasant staff, a bar that stays open more or less as long as you want it to. We stayed in the lodge before and after we climbed the Kilimanjaro. The lodge is situated outside of Moshi, 1 hour drive from the airport. Very nice staff. Charming bungalow rooms. Very quiet. Small swimming pool. Quiet restaurant. It's set in a remote coffee plantation, so it's not convenient to anything, but it's very peaceful and relaxing, and hardly a mosquito in site due to the higher altitude (it sits on a hill). Gets chilly at night.
