Reasonably priced (U$10@ night single) and clean, but the Olympic-sized swimming pool is the big attraction. Several ex-pat residents of Moshi show up here regularly for a refreshing dip, so you can get a feeling for the town and the activities by listening and asking questions. And the view of the Mt. Kilimanjaro glaciers from the shallow end is breath-taking, especially at sunset.
Reception is friendly and helpful. The accommodation is basic, but typical of a YMCA anywhere in the world. The food is basic, but edible. The beer is cold. more
